General MIDI Keyboard

Since questions do occur from time to time, I've created a discussion forum for them.

GMKbd is a feature-rich General MIDI-compatible keyboard simulator for MS-Windows V3.1 and later versions. It can be used as a stand-alone program to play music on attached MIDI devices, or, with appropriate MIDI drivers, it can be used to send MIDI messages to other applications, such as sequencers.

This version of GMKbd contains the following highlights:

bulletGM, GS, and XG support
bullet"Generic Mode" for nonstandard synths
bullet16- and 32-bit variants
bulletAftertouch and/or Channel pressure output
bulletModeless Send dialog, allowing MIDI message monitoring
bulletup to 5 concurrent highly configurable arpeggiators

You can download GMKbd V2.06 16-bit here. (555KB)
new.gif (860 Byte) You can download GMKbd V2.06 32-bit here. (802KB)

As I've been notified from various people, MFCOLEUI.DLL is not part of the standard Windows installation, and GMKbd won't work without it; I've included it in the 16-bit version.

Auch in Deutsch erhältlich!
